Our Mission
BookLocalPG exists to make it easier for Prince George residents to find and book local services. Whether you need a haircut, snow removal, tutoring, or home repairs, we believe connecting with local providers should be simple, free, and accessible to everyone. No gatekeeping, no middlemen taking cuts.
We're building a platform where solo service providers can get discovered, showcase their work, and grow their client base—without paying monthly fees or dealing with complicated booking systems. Because running a side hustle shouldn't require a business degree.
Why We Built This
It started with a Facebook post in a Prince George community group. A mother posted that her son was available to shovel snow from driveways for $50.
That post got us thinking: How do local service providers—especially individuals, students, and side hustlers—get discovered in Prince George?
The answer? They don't. There's no easy way for solo providers to build an online presence, showcase their work, or get found by people who need their services. Facebook groups are great, but they're not exactly built for this. That's why we built BookLocalPG—to give every service provider in Prince George a free, professional profile that helps them get discovered. No Facebook algorithm required.
So... how much does this cost?
Nothing. Zero. Zip. Nada.
We're not charging monthly fees because we're not evil. BookLocalPG exists to help our community, not to squeeze service providers for cash they don't have. We've seen what happens when platforms get greedy, and we're not doing that.
Every feature is free. Every provider profile is free. Forever. No credit card required, no hidden fees, no "upgrade to Pro" prompts, no "limited to 5 bookings per month" nonsense. Just a simple platform that helps Prince George residents connect with local services.
